God Built Men's Study

The winter session of God Built meets on Saturday mornings from January 7^{–March 3}. (We will break on February 4 due to the No Regrets conference.) We are continuing our series “Men of the Word,” as we learn what it means to walk with God as we look at godly men of the Bible. You can join the study at any time as sessions are not sequential. God Built is a great place to meet other men and to learn principles that will help you become the person God wants you to be. Bring a friend!

To “exalt” means to glorify, praise, or honor. The object of our exaltation is the Triune God who alone is worthy of our praise. Exodus 15:2 says this: “The LORD is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him.” We are further commanded in scripture to worship the Lord in song. Psalm 30:4 says, “Sing to the LORD, you His faithful ones, and praise His holy name.”

Our Mission

First, it is our desire to come together, humbly and honestly, in corporate worship to magnify the goodness and greatness of God.

Second, we want to develop and deploy true worshipers who will exalt the LORD daily; to know Him and make Him known. “Sing to the LORD, for He has done glorious things. Let this be known throughout the earth. (Isaiah 12:5)

Our Values

We value commitment to God, walking by faith in obedience to his commands. We value honestly, faithfulness, consistency, encouragement, a servant heart, passion, and humility. “Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” (Philippians 2:3-4). We value doing good to one another (Galatians 6:10) while preparing one another for life and ministry. (Ephesians 4:12)
